10th World Water Forum in Bali Aims for Global Climate Action

The Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency of Indonesia (BMKG) remains optimistic that the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) in Bali will inspire leaders to commit politically to tackling the urgent climate crisis and climate change challenges. The event will take place from May 18 to May 25, 2024. In a recent online seminar, BMKG's chief, Dwikorita Karnawati, reported that global climate organizations have found weather and climate patterns to be currently erratic, primarily due to the ongoing high levels of CO2 emissions. This climate unpredictability could trigger severe weather events, such as droughts and excessive rainfall, potentially worsening social and public health  situations  and affecting countries' economic stability.
